About DLS
Disability Lifespan Solutions (DLS) is designed to address the resource and support needs of individuals with disabilities and their families.
Initially developed to help families that were facing the "Turning 22" transition, our team realized individuals and families were looking beyond this transition. Navigating the different supports available to children and adults with disabilities can be incredibly overwhelming and difficult. Through consultations, periodic assistance, or goal-oriented support, DLS can help.
We provide reliable information, professional guidance, and hands-on assistance to individuals and families, helping them identify and access the resources they need. Our staff are seasoned professionals with lived experience helping people with disabilities. We know that flexibility and compassion are essential to providing support and solutions.
Our areas of expertise include:

DLS is offered in many communities throughout Eastern and Central MA. As a program of Jewish Family & Children's Service (JF&CS), DLS is connected to the 40 programs offered by JF&CS and our staff can consult with agency experts on a variety of topics. Referrals can be easily made to other JF&CS programs, including, day and employment programs, Adult Family Care, and supported living options. Services are available for families with children of all ages and individuals who are 18 years old or older. We support individuals and families with a wide range of diagnoses, including developmental, intellectual, psychiatric, and/or physical disabilities, including autism. We have a passion for our work and will work tirelessly to identify services and supports that promote lifelong well-being.
Consultations and ongoing services are billed at an hourly rate. We also offer an introductory 30-minute phone consultation free of charge. Services can be provided in the community, or at any of our office locations.
This program is funded in part by CJP.
